Gift Design Agreement

We are excited to work with you on a custom gift design! Please review the following terms and conditions which outline the details of your gift design agreement.

Terms and Conditions

• A $350 Custom Gift Design Deposit Fee is due up-front to secure your project on Grateful Gadgets' design and production calendar; Fee covers sourcing and curation time invested by Grateful Gadgets and does not apply to final invoice; Projects and/or events requiring more than one gift design (i.e. varying tiers of gifts) are subject to additional Custom Gift Design Deposit Fees per project.
• Gift Design Deposit Fee includes (2) rounds of design revisions above and beyond the initial gift design concept that is delivered; Additional revisions are subject to additional design fees beginning at $100 per additional round of revisions.
• Using details from the Client's event inspiration boards any any other visual files provided, Grateful Gadgets will create a design proposal, and corresponding pricing quote, for the Client to visualize the final product; Grateful Gadgets will update the design proposal, and corresponding pricing quote, as each requested round of revisions is completed.
• There is an 8 gift + $1400 minimum spend requirement per order not including delivery/shipping plus 20% gift assembly service; Unusually labor-intensive projects may require a higher percentage for gift assembly service. Examples include but not limited to gift designs requiring sub-assemblies, DIY elements, etc
• 7.5% sales tax is applicable to gifts delivering within the State of North Carolina and due immediately upon receipt of invoice
• Upon receipt of signed Gift Design Agreement, Gift Design Deposit Fee paid in full, and a completed Gift Design Questionnaire, design and production time will be scheduled and the overall project start date will be communicated to the Client. Project start dates are scheduled based on (1) Grateful Gadgets availability at the time the Client signs and pays the Gift Design Fee and (2) the project due date requested by the Client
• From start to finish, the design process takes approximately 2-3 weeks, including revisions, and another 3 weeks for sourcing and gift assembly. Allow additional time for nationwide shipping, if applicable. The design process begins approximately 6-12 weeks prior to the event and/or project deadline unless otherwise agreed upon by both Grateful Gadgets and the Client ahead of time.
• Design Agreements signed less than 6 weeks prior to a project's shipping/delivery date are subject to an additional rush fee of $300. Rush service is based on availability.
• Client must provide feedback on the initial design concept and design revisions, if applicable, within 3 business days to remain on schedule. If Client takes longer to provide feedback on design revisions, the overall design process may potentially result in rush production fees in order to meet the Client's delivery deadline. Rush projects may require a faster turnaround time on revision feedback.
• Upon the Client signing the Gift Design Agreement and paying the Gift Design Deposit Fee, Grateful Gadgets reserves design time and production time on the calendar. In the event that the Client decides not to move forward with the project for any reason, a Cancellation Fee of $800 will be invoiced and due immediately upon receipt. The $350 Gift Design Deposit Fee does not apply towards the Cancellation Fee.
• Cancellation is defined as a) Client sends written notification to Grateful Gadgets that they are terminating the project b) Client inactivity and/or lack of response to Grateful Gadgets written communication for a period of 60 days or more c) Project not reaching completion within 6 months of initial design concept being delivered, unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing in advance between Grateful Gadgets and the Client.
• Projects requiring different versions of gifts to be shipped to specific recipients, or groups of recipients, are subject to an additional service fee starting at $450. Examples include gifts with varying size options, logos, messaging, colors, etc.
• Gift Design Deposit Fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

100% of the total due 30 days after delivery of agreement in the amount of $350.00
