The film advance lever works and sets the shutter, the shutter snaps, and the lens focuses clean and clear.

A variation of the 500CM was used by NASA for all their Gemini and Apollo missions. Designed to capture 6cm x 6cm square images on 120 (12 exposures) or 220 (24 exposures) roll film.
