Our Story
Welcome to Grateful Gadgets! We are an artisan gifting business that specializes in elegant gift box design and hand crafted items. Our products are unique and exciting which tell a story throughout the fine details. As lovers of tailored experiences and elevated everyday essentials, we design gifts with character that are beautiful and useful. These little luxuries inspire our daily lifestyle.
Grateful Gadgets began when founder Alexander Joseph (AJ) struggled to find unique gifts for an event with a dapper presentation. After not finding anything of interest, AJ made his own.
With the knowledge of being a successful product designer for 10 years and working with many start up businesses globally, he saw an opportunity for his creativity to flourish. After three years of building Grateful Gadgets part time, AJ took the leap in 2018 creating this business full time. Our passion revolves around gratitude and paying it forward.
Our Client
Grateful Gadgets welcomes event planners, businesses, wedding parties, and individuals seeking thoughtful gifts. We love to collaborate if you already have ideas about your gifting need but we also love to harness our creativity and come up with custom designed gifts as well.
Although Grateful Gadgets did get it's start designing groomsmen gifts, all sorts of gifts are becoming popular for a variety of events. From swag bags, award ceremony gifts, and corporate appreciation gifts to athletic event gifts, anniversary gifts, and family reunion gifts just to name a few.

Team of Collaborators
Laurel
Laurel is our operations assistant helping with our day to day routine and social media management. She loves spreading joy and making people laugh with her cheerful spirit. Previously Laurel has been part of marketing teams across the west coast and more recently a wedding planner assistant. Outside of work you can find her in the garden or cooking with the delicious vegetables she grows. Laurel also adores Duke, her 6 year old Golden Retriever, a champion at playing fetch!
Rémy
Rémy expertly crafts stylistic photographs for our gift boxes which are always on point. His knowledge of consumer product photography makes him easy to work with. Spanning the Carolinas for both editorial and commercial prospects but he frequently hits the road for work as well. Rémy’s photographs are eye catching and exude a personable character. Kelly
Kelly is the mastermind behind our lifestyle branding content. Her ability to capture a vision and execute with precision is always met with a glowing smile. A Charlotte N.C. photographer, Kelly helps businesses book clients, sell products, and grow their following through visually captivating brand imagery.
